LMBF services include:
(1) Identifying opportunities for those within the music business and realising them. These opportunities might include, but are not limited to: the securing of recording, publishing and personal management deals for artists and songwriters; the creative career development of artists and songwriters in all areas; the sale or acquisition of sound recording and music publishing copyright assets; and, the operational establishment and structural creation of sound recording and music publishing companies.
(2) Providing consultation on all matters or issues relating to the business, administrative, and creative management of: (a) music publishers, record companies and other affiliated music businesses; (b) recording artists - with their recording companies, producers, managers and agents, manufacturers and distributors; (c) songwriters – with their music publishers, artists and record labels; others (individuals and businesses) involved in all direct and indirect facets of the music business;
(3) Providing background information, perspective and detail about the industry, including structural and systems analysis; providing practical knowledge, advice and recommendations to industry organisations, collectives, societies, associations, corporations (profit and non-profit), foundations, federal, provincial and municipal departments and agencies, and others.
(4) Realising opportunities for those (or with those) outside the music business.
These opportunities might include the development of specific strategies or projects for those seeking to benefit from the similar demographics and audience serviced by or identified with the music industry; which projects are designed to involve and create collaborations with one or more facets of the music business (or with those outside the music business) be it for cultural or creative or business purposes; and for deriving revenue streams, revenue growth or other benefits therefrom.

LMBF’s consulting role for the foregoing includes:
providing advice, expertise and knowledge of both the creative and business aspects of the music industry on a national and international level; identifying and delivering creative talent for specific projects; planning and executing career development and project-driven strategies involving that talent and the industry; gathering information and detail about available national, regional or local public and private sector funding - for both creative and industry applicants; analyzing existing business structures and systems for efficiency and growth; proposing new methods and tools for creating new or expanded revenue streams and partners; researching various industry sectors, recommending and reaching their key players effectively; realising clients' objectives
